Keyword research
Turn keyword research into a content decision.
Know what to do with a query list. Marvedo groups related needs, maps them to your content and shows where you can focus.
Focus on the answer, not just the keyword.
Similar searches can have different expectations. Someone learning what project management means needs a different answer from someone choosing a tool. We assess terms alongside questions and existing pages.
If an existing page can serve the query group, we consider an update. If no relevant answer exists, we identify a new topic. The goal is not one article per keyword, but a clear purpose for each page.
What decisions come from a query list?
- Related query groups
- See related topics and questions together, while separating searches that need different answers.
- Target-page mapping
- Choose an existing URL that can answer the query group and clarify the question it should address.
- New content or an update
- Distinguish improvements to an existing page from a new topic, then define the next content task.
Connect the query, the need and the page.
We gather topics and existing content
We review business-relevant questions, your pages and any search data you choose to share.
We group searches by the answer needed
We assess related searches, separating informational needs from purchase decisions even when the wording is similar.
We select the destination and task
We map the group to an existing page or suggest content for an unanswered topic, with a clear question for each task.
Your customers' questions are a good starting point.
You do not need a ready-made keyword list. Your products, pages and customer questions help define the focus.
- Products or services you want to highlight
- Your existing category, product and guide pages
- Customer questions, query lists or Search Console reports you choose to share
Keyword research questions
Does every keyword need its own page?
No. Related queries serving the same need can share a page. Similar wording does not always mean the same intent; we consider the page's purpose and answer together.
Can we start without Search Console data?
Yes. We can define the scope using your content, products and research questions. Reports you choose to share can add context, but connecting an account is not required.
Are rankings or traffic guaranteed for the selected topic?
No. Query-to-page mapping clarifies which need your content should meet. It does not guarantee rankings, search volume or traffic growth. Later evaluation uses observed data.
Build on your next step.
